Menzies Aviation has achieved Cargo iQ certification, recognising its commitment to driving quality, reliability, and transparency across its global cargo operations.
As part of the extensive accreditation process, Menzies Aviation has worked to align its global cargo operations with Cargo iQ’s globally recognised Master Operating Plan (MOP), the industry’s standard framework for end-to-end shipment planning and performance measurement.
The MOP defines key milestones across the cargo journey and establishes consistent quality benchmarks for airlines, handlers and forwarders worldwide.
By embedding these standards into its processes and data systems, Menzies Aviation is ensuring greater transparency, more accurate performance monitoring, and a stronger, more reliable service experience for customers across its network.
Cargo iQ is composed of more than 60 airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling service providers, trucking companies, and IT solution providers globally.
The group’s mission is to create and implement quality standards for the global air cargo industry through planning and performance monitoring based on common business processes and milestones.
Beau Paine, executive vice president cargo at Menzies Aviation, said: “Becoming Cargo iQ certified reinforces our commitment to operational excellence and customer trust. This accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our global cargo teams, who consistently strive to deliver reliable, high-quality service in every shipment we handle.
“By integrating Cargo iQ’s quality and performance metrics into our internal systems, we have further strengthened our quality management framework.”
Marie Seco-Köppen, executive director at Cargo iQ, said: “By gaining accreditation Menzies are demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement, 2026 promises to be the year of action for Cargo iQ and it’s the members like Menzies that are helping to drive the quality journey for air cargo forward.”
