Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been ruled out for the rest of his team’s game against the rival Chicago Bears after suffering a concussion.
Over halfway through the second quarter, Love was sacked by Bears pass rusher Austin Booker.
Love lowered the crown of his helmet as Booker rushed him – with the two colliding head-first.
The quarterback then laid down on the turf for some time, requiring help from training staff.
Love was then seen walking off the field with medical personnel and toward the locker room.
After initially being ruled as ‘questionable’ to return, he was downgraded to ‘out’ before the start of the second half.

Backup quarterback Malik Willis was brought in to deputize for Love. At the half, the Packers held a 6-0 lead.
Before his exit, Love had competed 8-of-13 passes for 77 yards. He also rushed twice for seven yards.
While Bears-Packers is always a heated affair, this edition of the classic NFL rivalry was more chippy than others.
Early in the contest, a Packers defensive back delivered a blindside hit to Bears wide receiver DJ Moore.
He briefly was knocked out of the game before eventually returning to the contest.
Willis was able to complete a pass to Romeo Doubs for the first touchdown on a windy night in Chicago to go up 13-3 just before the start of the fourth quarter.
