As Jordon Hudson made her return to competitive cheerleading, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out one mysterious gesture during her routine.
Hudson, 24, made her North Carolina cheerleading debut at the weekend, with boyfriend Bill Belichick, 73, seen supporting her from the sidelines on the day.
Belichick’s sighting was, initially, the main talking point from the day but, shortly afterwards, discourse quickly turned to one of Hudson’s gestures.
Hudson, who was dressed in her glamorous Code Black uniform, began the routine as the back center flyer in the adult coed cheerleading competition.
As she finished the routine, Hudson was again back center and placed her hands above her head in a mysterious gesture that left fans speculating.
One comment on YouTube read: ‘She starts in the center back. Also ends in the thumbnail with her hands over her head like wearing a crown’.

Hudson’s partner, Bill Belichick, had been spotted watching from the sidelines on the day
The 24-year-old was the only one on the team to perform the gesture, which caught attention on social media in the days that followed.
While some other fans also began speculating what else the gesture could mean, there was a handful of social media users who ripped into the performance.
Taking to X, one user wrote: ‘So, she doesn’t jump, tumble, no pyramids or dance, barely assists with spotting and encouragement, does the easiest partner stunts? Giving paid to play’.
Meanwhile, back on YouTube, another said: ‘Lmao… it was actually kind of sloppy….’ as they critiqued the Code Black performance.
Meanwhile, Tar Heels football coach Belichick was seen stood nearby with several other spectators as his partner and her teammates took to the mat.
He appeared to be donning a grey hoodie as he supported Hudson, who was dressed in her glamorous Code Black uniform as she performed on the day.
However, Belichick swiftly went viral after the event, not for his support on the day, but rather for the glum expression he wore across his face in one photo that emerged.
Taking to X, one user wrote: ‘Blink twice if you need help Bill’.
‘He’s so mad [laughing emojis], another user said on the platform.
In a sarcastic post, another user said: ‘He seems stoked to be there’.

The day before, Belichick’s UNC team were handed their sixth defeat of the season by Wake Forest, before he was accused of showing disrespect to a rival coach.
While he was playing the doting boyfriend on Sunday, Hudson has frequently attended North Carolina games to support Belichick this season.
Earlier this month she narrowly avoided an awkward encounter with his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schmitt, during a game against Stanford, with both parties appearing to keep their distance on the night.
Schmitt, who at 35 is 11 years older than Hudson, is married to Belichick’s son Stephen, who coaches at the University of North Carolina alongside his father as the defensive coordinator.
The exact status of Schmitt and Hudson’s relationship has never been made clear but the former broke rank and criticized the cheerleader amid the outrage over her and Belichick’s excruciating CBS interview back in April.
That day, Hudson sparked uproar by interrupting from off-camera to stop her visibly uncomfortable boyfriend answering a question about how they met.
