A man went into a business on Oyster Point Road seeking help after suffering a gunshot wound, police said.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man went into an Oyster Point-area business for help after suffering a gunshot wound in the parking lot Sunday afternoon, police said.
Newport News police responded to the 500 block of Oyster Point Road about 1:43 p.m. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics took him to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation determined the incident happened in the parking lot before the victim went into a business to get help.
