Tata Motors Jamshedpur hosts 5 km Walkathon to Promote Quality and Healthy Living


 

Jamshedpur, Nov 16: Tata Motors organized a 5 km walkathon on Sunday morning at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium, Telco, as part of Quality Month celebrations. The event started at 5:30 am and was led by Quality Head Pramod Bhure. It aimed to promote innovation, community health, and awareness on quality as a collective responsibility, in line with this year’s theme, “Think Differently.”

The flag-off was done by Plant Head Sunil Tiwari, who attended the event as the chief guest. Tata Motors Workers’ Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad, General Manager ERCJ – CV Engg Jivraj Sandhu, and Union Secretary R.K. Singh were also present.

Doctors Chinmay Roy and Ayush guided participants on the importance of staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Employees of the company, their families, suppliers, students, and members of the community came together to participate with enthusiasm.

A total of 850 people completed the walkathon, including around 70 representatives from supplier organizations. The event encouraged people from different backgrounds to unite, reflect on personal and social responsibilities, and embrace healthier habits. Coordinated by Mr. Bhure, the walkathon marked a successful step toward spreading awareness on quality and well-being within the community.
