Built for our 1962 World’s Fair, the old Quality Inn is still standing at 618 John St., between Lower Queen Anne and South Lake Union. It’s being used by Mary’s Place on an interim basis as a shelter, while Cushman & Wakefield tries to sell the half block for landowner Gemdale USA. The latter’s old Skyblox office plan came to naught, caught by the collapsing post-pandemic office market.
