Solano facility’s NICU milestone is among few in era of hospital challenges
NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield recently celebrated 40 years operating its neonatal intensive care unit. The Solano County facility is one of few hospitals in the North Bay that operates a NICU, a milestone in itself in an era where increasing numbers of hospitals across the country are closing their labor and delivery units altogether.
