Building a professional website shouldn’t require a computer science degree. Yet most WordPress themes still expect you to be a designer, developer, and content creator all rolled into one.
Crafto is an AI-powered theme that does the heavy lifting for you. Instead of giving you blank templates and expecting you to figure it out, Crafto’s AI writes your content, creates custom images, and builds professional pages based on your business type.
But how well does it actually work? Do you need technical skills? What about pricing?
In this hands-on review of Crafto by ThemeZaa, I’ll answer these questions and share my experience of using this offering.
Crafto by ThemeZaa: Overview and Key Features

Crafto is made by ThemeZaa, a team that’s been building WordPress themes for over a decade with 60,000+ happy customers. You get 48 ready-to-go websites for real businesses like restaurants, fitness centers, consulting practices, and online stores.
Each website is completely functional right out of the box. Pick one that fits your business, import it with one click, add your logo and contact info, and you’re online.
Most themes hand you empty templates and say “good luck.” Crafto gives you everything you need to succeed online: premium plugins that normally cost $200+, speed optimization so your site loads fast, and AI assistance that creates professional content while you focus on serving your customers.
Key features:
- One-Click Setup – Import any demo site and have it running in under 10 minutes
- 1,450+ Ready-Made Sections – Headers, pricing tables, testimonials, and everything else you need
- Drag-and-Drop Everything – Build pages without touching code using the included Elementor page builder
- Premium Plugins Included – Get Elementor Pro, Slider Revolution, and other expensive plugins for free
- eCommerce Ready – Start selling immediately with WooCommerce integration and shopping features
- Mobile-First Design – Every template looks perfect on phones, tablets, and desktops automatically
Hands-On With Crafto
In this section, I’ll show you how to set up and use Crafto on your WordPress website.
First, you have to meet the requirements set by the theme developer. These include:
Hosting Requirements
Crafto needs your hosting to support:
Basic requirements:
- WordPress version 6.7.0 or newer
- PHP versions 8.0 to 8.2
- MySQL version 8 or higher
Server settings (ask your hosting company if these aren’t already set):
- Memory limit: 512MB
- File upload size: 128MB
- Processing time: 300 seconds
If you’re using popular hosting like SiteGround, Bluehost, or WP Engine, you’re probably already good to go. Not sure? Check under Tools > Site Health > Info in your WordPress dashboard.

Having problems? If the demo import gets stuck or you see blank pages, your hosting might have lower limits. Just contact your hosting support and ask them to bump up the memory limit to 512MB — it’s usually a quick fix they can do for free.
Getting Crafto
To buy Crafto, head over to ThemeForest and search for “Crafto by ThemeZaa” or use the direct link from their website. Add it to your cart for $19 and checkout. You’ll get an email confirmation once the purchase goes through.

Log into your ThemeForest account, go to your Downloads section, and find Crafto. Click Download and choose “Installable WordPress file only” to get just the theme files without extra clutter.
Your Crafto purchase includes three things:
- Crafto.zip The main theme file you install on WordPress
- Crafto-child.zip A child theme for safe customizations
- Documentation link Setup instructions and tutorials
Pro tip: If you plan to customize colors, fonts, or code later, use the child theme. This way, when Crafto updates, your customizations won’t disappear.
Getting Your Purchase Code
After downloading, you’ll also need your purchase code to activate the theme. Go back to your ThemeForest Downloads, find Crafto, click Download again, and select “License certificate & purchase code.” Save this somewhere safe since you’ll need it during installation.
One important thing: each Crafto license works for one website only. If you want to use it on multiple sites later, you’ll need to buy additional licenses.
Installing in WordPress
Once you’ve downloaded the files, take the following steps to install the theme on your site:
- Go to your WordPress admin and click Appearance > Themes. Next, click Add New > Upload Theme. Now choose the Crafto .zip file and click Install Now.
- Next, click the Activate button that appears after installation to make Crafto your active theme.
- Enter your purchase code and email address on the license activation screen to unlock all the features of Crafto.

After activating your license, Crafto will automatically start its setup wizard. This helps you install the plugins you need, like Elementor and Crafto’s native tools. The wizard will also ask if you want to import demo content.

If you’re new to this, definitely import a demo that fits your business. This gives you a complete, professional-looking website right away instead of starting with nothing. Then you just swap in your own photos, text, and contact details.
Customizing Your Crafto Website
Once Crafto is installed, you’ll want to customize it to match your business. Most of this happens through the WordPress Customizer, where you can see changes in real-time before publishing them.Go to Appearance > Customize in your WordPress admin. This opens the customizer where you can adjust colors, fonts, layouts, and more without touching any code.

For my own site, I tried customizing:
Your Logo and Branding
First, I uploaded my business logo and set up the favicon (that little icon in browser tabs). You can configure different logo sizes for mobile and desktop, plus there’s a “sticky logo” option that shows when people scroll down.
Header and Footer Areas
You can turn these sections off entirely or customize them further with the theme builder. I added my phone number to the header, but you might prefer keeping it cleaner.
Shop Configuration
Since I was setting up an online store, I spent time here configuring product displays and checkout options. For example, I enabled the “Quick View” feature so customers can see product details in a popup without leaving the main shop page. I also turned on the wishlist and compare functions, and set up sale labels like “NEW” and “SALE” to highlight special products.

Analytics Setup
I entered my Google Analytics code to track visitors and see which pages get the most traffic.
There are quite a few more settings available, but these are the ones most businesses actually need to change first.
Elements and Widgets
Crafto comes stocked with pre-built elements that you can drag and drop onto your pages. These make it easy to create professional layouts without writing any code.
I tried quite a few of them and loved the results, including:
AI Assistant
This adds an interactive chat feature to your website. Just upload your logo, pick your colors for the chat bubble, and write some placeholder text. The whole setup took maybe 5 minutes and made the site look way more professional.

Brand Logos Section
This particular widget is perfect for showing off client logos or certifications. Upload your logos, decide how many columns you want across the page, and adjust the spacing. It’s so much easier than trying to line everything up manually.
Video Button
This was another winner. Instead of boring text on my homepage, I added a video button that plays my intro video in a popup when clicked. You can pick from different animation effects and match the colors to your brand.

Crafto AI
Besides the chatbot widget we’ve already covered, Crafto includes additional AI tools that can seriously speed up your content creation process.
For example, you get an:
AI Content Writer
Have you ever stared at a blank page wondering what to write? AI Content Writer makes this problem disappear. It works directly inside Elementor when you’re building pages. Click the AI icon next to any content field, describe what you need, and it generates professional copy instantly.

AI Article Writer
This handles complete blog posts from start to finish. Enter your topic, choose your preferred tone and length, and it produces full articles with suggested titles and tags ready to publish.
AI Image Generator
A lot of website owners struggle to find the right images for their content. AI Image Generator solves this by creating custom visuals from simple text descriptions. Instead of browsing stock photo sites for hours, just describe what you want and get unique images that match your exact needs.

These AI features are built directly into the theme, making content creation seamless for users of all levels.
Crafto Pricing
Crafto is available to purchase from ThemeForest for $19. That pricing gets you the complete theme, all 48 demos, AI tools, premium plugins, future updates, and 6 months of support from ThemeZaa.
If you want to extend support to 12 months, you can add that for an additional $2.63. Otherwise, the $19 covers everything you need to build and run your website.
Final Verdict
For the sake of time, I’ll wrap up my review here, but you should know that these are just a few of the features packed into Crafto.
It’s a really powerful WordPress theme that delivers on its promises, and ThemeZaa has outdone themselves with this release. At $19, Crafto costs less than most people spend on dinner, yet it provides everything you need to build a professional website that actually converts visitors into customers.
So why not give Crafto a try and see what it can do for your business?
