KEWASKUM — Brandon and Danielle Kohn, owners of Kohn’s Filling Station, released an announcement to the community on Dec. 10 informing them that the stations are now under new management, and that they will be stepping away.
The Kohns emphasized in the announcement that this decision did not come lightly.
“Today marks the close of our chapter as Kohn’s Filling Station, as both our Kewaskum and Campbellsport stores have transitioned to new ownership,” said the Kohns in the announcement, “This was not an easy decision to make.”
The family also expressed great pride in the success the locations had seen for such an extensive period of time, thankful for the opportunity to be a positive part of both communities.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you for over three generations,” said the family. “From our early days as Kohn’s Corner Mart to the addition of Kohn’s Filling Stations in Kewaskum and Campbellsport, it has been such a blessing to serve you for so many years.”
The family also offered an expression of gratitude to the members of both communities for their patronage and their overall support of their business over the many years they had been serving them.
“We are deeply grateful for the support, kindness and loyalty shown to us throughout the years, and we want to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our customers and team members who have been part of the Kohn’s story — your support has meant so much to us,” said the Kohn family. “With much gratitude, we sincerely thank you for your many years of continued support. From our Kohn’s family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!”
While the business has been sold to new owners, the locations continue to operate as gas/convenience stores. More information regarding this transition will be released in the future.
