Kristi App has been named the chief commercial officer of the Port of New Orleans. App was previously chief operating officer of the freight forwarding, customs brokerage and global logistics provider J.W. Allen & Co.
Eric Bosch, president of LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors, has become regional market leader of the Atlanta-based certified public accounting and advisory firm Mauldin & Jenkins, which has 19 offices following the merger.

McGlinchey Stafford announced the hiring of Ryan Ginn as an associate at the firm’s enterprise litigation and investigations team.
Eli Larriviere has joined Blue Williams to work as an associate.
Danita Beck Wickwire has been named the inaugural executive director of development for the Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine. Wickwire, who previously worked as vice president of strategic and principal giving for the National Audubon Society, will lead philanthropic for the college.

Dr. Ralph Corsetti has become the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center’s newest surgical oncologist. He will work closely with the center’s breast specialty program and practice at its surgery clinic in Covington.
Nick D’Aquilla has been promoted to president of Counsel Financial. D’Aquilla, a Baton Rouge-based attorney and former civil defense litigator for the Louisiana Department of Justice, joined the Buffalo-based litigation finance firm as a managing director in 2024.

Al James has been hired as director of the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Foundation. James, a Ruston native, has more than a quarter century of experience in the nonprofit sector, most recently as events and sponsorship director for Philanthropy Southwest.

Rose Miller, a past board member of the Louisiana Bankers Association with more than four decades of banking industry experience, has been promoted executive chair of the board of First National Bank of Louisiana. The Lafayette-based bank also promoted Jim Lyons, a Jennings native and Louisiana Economic Development board member, to chief executive officer.
Sarah Davenport
Sarah Davenport has been appointed the head of school for Ascension Episcopal School. Davenport, who was previously the upper school division head at the Lafayette school, had been serving as interim head for the prior six months.
