Aaron Sandvig joins Johnston and Brouillard
Johnston and Brouillard, P.A., announced that Aaron Sandvig has joined its legal team in Alexandria. His practice will concentrate in litigation, estate planning, probate and trust administration.
Sandvig grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from high school, he attended Hillsdale College where he graduated with a degree in history. Following his undergraduate studies, Sandvig joined the US Army. He led a human intelligence collection team during a 15-month deployment just outside Baghdad.
Shortly after returning from deployment, he married a central Minnesota girl, and upon leaving the Army, he attended William Mitchell College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. Fifteen winters and three children later, they now call Sauk Centre home.
Sandvig has come to Johnston & Brouillard, P.A. to head their litigation team as well as expand his practice in estate planning, probate and trust administration. He focuses particularly on business and real estate disputes, bringing over a decade of experience to clients navigating complex disputes.
From resolving a messy business breakup to untangling a contested fence line, Sandvig listens to each client’s unique goals, crafts a ligation strategy tailored to each client’s needs, and provides direct, practical advice to achieve the best outcome possible.
When not working, Sandvig can be found trying to fix something on his century-old home, vainly attempting to burn off some of his son’s excess energy, or hanging out with his wife and two daughters.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
