Golf Business News – TGI Golf appoints data analyst to support Partner business growth

TGI Golf, Europe’s leading golf retail services group, has appointed Matt Peace as its new Business Support and Data Analyst.

Bringing years of experience in golf retail and EPOS optimisation, Matt will focus on helping the group’s 480 Professionals unlock efficiencies, streamline processes, and drive data-driven growth.

The 38-year-old is well known within the golf retail industry, having spent the last 10 years working in pro shops and closely with golf retailers as Sales Manager at XPOS.

Peace joins the retail services group with a view to help TGI Golf Partners leverage their EPOS systems to full potential and streamlining the many digital processes now employed by the group.

“I’ve always loved working closely with TGI Golf over the years, so to have the opportunity to join the team was one I jumped at,” said Matt. “I’m excited to contribute by improving internal IT systems and streamlining day-to-day processes.

“My goal is to help Partners unlock the full potential of their EPOS systems, driving efficiency and creating opportunities for additional revenue. I look forward to collaborating with Partners, Retail Consultants and Suppliers to strengthen their knowledge and deliver meaningful results.”

The TGI Golf Partnership is golf’s leading retail services group, assisting PGA Professionals across the UK and Ireland to run successful and profitable businesses as independent retailers. From driving ranges and private members clubs to Open Championship venues and prestigious resorts TGI Golf’s expert team treat every Partner as an individual, catering for their personal and business needs.

Adele McLean, Managing Director of TGI Golf, commented: “Introducing a data analyst to interpret our extensive sales data has been a long-term goal for the group, but finding the right person was key. When Matt became available, it was a fantastic opportunity, and we’re delighted he accepted the role.

“Our ethos is to invest in the right people with the right expertise in areas that matter most to our Partners. Matt’s appointment reinforces this commitment, bringing advanced knowledge to help Partners optimise EPOS systems and enabling us to interpret critical data that informs key business decisions for TGI Golf, our Partners, and Partner Suppliers.”
