Health and technology experts have urged Nigerians to adopt safer practices when using mobile phones, microwave ovens, and other electronic devices, highlighting that moderation and responsible use can help reduce exposure to radiation.
Speaking at a wellness awareness workshop in Abuja, Taiwanese wellness advocate Mr. Bernieg Gaksch encouraged citizens to pay attention to their overall wellbeing while engaging with modern technology.
“Although global studies have not confirmed extreme risks from telecommunications technology, users should follow recommended safety guidelines.
“Public awareness on healthy lifestyle choices remains important as the use of digital devices continues to grow,” he said.
Mr. Gaksch, Regional Marketing Manager at QNET, also stressed that wellness practices are not substitutes for medical care and urged Nigerians to consult qualified health professionals when necessary.
