Matt Hall, service lead at Youth Trust, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this grant from the Morrisons Foundation.

“Young people have a range of challenges and usually the first thing that suffers is their nutrition.

“This grant will enable us to educate and improve the situation for many young people who will see just how practical and budget friendly eating healthy can be.

“We can’t wait to get started and look forward to sharing our successes in the future.”

Youth Trust provides wrap around support for young people on the IW including counselling, therapy, wellbeing support, employment and careers, and housing support.

David Scott, Morrisons Foundation trustee, said: “The cost-of-living crisis continues to hit us all hard, that’s why it’s great that we’re supporting Youth Trust’s ‘healthy eating on a budget workshops’.

“These workshops will provide a great opportunity for young people to not only learn how to cook nutritious meals but also balance their finances.”
