Best Places To Work In Aviation 2025: Winners announced

The 2025 winners of Aviation Business News’ Best Places To Work In Aviation have been announced with three new firms joining repeat winners from the inaugural year.

The accolade is determined from the results of an independent employer and employee survey conducted for ABN by our partners at Workforce Research Group.

This ensures that Best Places is a robust and trustworthy barometer of what the people who work at the companies that make the grade think of their roles and of their employer.

The 2025 Best Places To Work In Aviation winners are:

Lee Hayhurst, ABN editorial director, said: “The talent shortfall the aviation sector is facing is clearly going to continue to be one of the biggest challenges for the sector for the foreseeable future.

“That’s why we launched Best Places in 2024 and we’re delighted to be able to reveal this year’s winners all of whom epitomise what it takes to be an employer of choice that showcase what a fantastic industry aviation is to work in.

“Huge congratulations to our second-time winners and to the new incumbents into the Best Places family. We love hearing how you are all focussing on recruitment, retention and providing a rewarding career in aviation.”

Companies that make the grade to be named a Best Place To Work are given a score and that determines their ranking. This year FDH Aero achieved the highest score which saw the US-based components supply and logistics firm rise from fourth to top spot.

Ian Walsh, FDH chief executive, said: “We’re honoured to receive this recognition for a second consecutive year.

“Aviation Business News’ Best Places to Work in Aviation program does tremendous work in spotlighting companies that prioritize their people, and we’re proud to be part of that story.

“Knowing the results are rooted in employee feedback makes this acknowledgment especially meaningful, because it reflects the culture our teams have worked so hard to build, one where all individuals not only feel supported and included but inspired to do their best work.”

Speaking on behalf of one of this year’s four repeat winners EirTrade Aviation, Natasha Whitney, human resources director, said:

“Winning this award for the second year running is testament to the spirit of EirTrade Aviation.  To work in a vibrant and challenging industry like aviation you need drive and determination.

“Everyone in our team feels part of a special business that is growing fast, bringing in new people, encouraging their career progression and rewarding success.”
