When you think Black Friday, you might imagine long lines at your local big box store or some frantic online shopping for holiday gifts. But if you’re a Costco shopper, Black Friday doesn’t have to be quite so scary—and it can actually start right away.
Though the current slate of Costco deals is still running through November 16, another round of deals is also coming to stores in waves. These Black Friday deals will run until December, though some deals will leave before others. (Don’t worry—we’ve got the details rounded up for you.)
Whether you’re looking for an easy batch of cinnamon rolls for brunch or the ingredients for your favorite snack mix, Costco has them on sale this month. There’s even a prebiotic soda to help keep your gut in tip-top shape, plus a couple of tools to make your job in the kitchen easier. Let’s break down the sales we’re most excited about.
Poppi Prebiotic Soda

From October 30 to November 16: $5 off each 15-count package of 12-ounce cans
Your gut is filled with a mix of potentially harmful and beneficial bacteria. The key is to feed the good ones, called probiotics, allowing them to multiply and thrive. That’s where prebiotics come in. Prebiotics are indigestible fibers found in foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables and legumes. Poppy Prebiotic Soda contains prebiotics from agave inulin and cassava root fiber.
One thing to note with any prebiotic soda is that if you have IBS and need to watch your FODMAPs, prebiotic sodas might not settle well in your gut. If you can handle fibers like inulin, then Poppi is a great alternative to traditional soda. (And while it can supplement your prebiotic intake, we recommend you try to get most of your prebiotics from food.)
Annie’s Organic Cinnamon Rolls

From October 30 to November 16: $4.50 off each 3-count package of 17.5-ounce tins
There’s nothing like the smell of warm, gooey cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. But let’s face it—they are a lot of work to make from scratch. Annie’s has you covered with their organic cinnamon rolls. Just pop the can open, place the rolls on a cookie sheet and bake for about 20 minutes. They even provide the icing. If you’re feeling ambitious, you could impress your guests with our Make-Ahead Cinnamon Rolls. Most of the work is done the day before, so you can just wake up and bake them up.
Cuisine Adventures French Onion Soup

From October 30 to November 16: $4 off a 6-count box of 10-ounce soups
It’s soup season, and Cuisine Adventures makes it easy to cozy up with a crock of their French Onion Soup. The antioxidant-rich onions in this soup are slow-simmered to bring out their natural sweetness in a rich, vegetarian broth. Topped with Swiss cheese and croutons, each soup is individually wrapped and is in and out of the microwave in just five minutes. Each serving contains about one-third of the recommended daily allotment for sodium, so it’s wise to stick to one serving, especially if you’re watching your sodium intake.
Kirkland Signature Culinary Parchment Paper

From October 30 to November 16: $3.50 off two 205-square-foot rolls
If you’re going to be making those Annie’s cinnamon rolls, you’ll want some parchment paper to place under them while they bake. Parchment paper serves several purposes. It not only provides a non-stick surface, but it also helps distribute the heat, ensuring a more even bake. Plus, it makes cleanup a snap. You can never have too much parchment paper on hand, so now is a great time to grab a Costco-sized roll for the cooler months.

October 30 to November 16: $2.40 off a 54.25-ounce variety pack
If you ask us, making your own snack mix just tastes better than buying it, and General Mills Chex Cereal is a main component in many snack mixes. In this variety pack, you’ll get a box of each of their classics: rice, corn and wheat. This means you’ll have the perfect combo to make your Chex Mix for holiday parties. Or for a quick and easy snack option without all the salt and fuss, combine some of each of the cereals with nuts, dried fruit and a little dark chocolate. Of course, cereal with your favorite milk and some fruit also makes a great snack.
Savanna Orchards Honey Roasted Nut Mix

From November 17 to December 1: $3 off a 30-ounce canister
Loaded with cashews, almonds, pecans and pistachios, this Savanna Orchards Honey Roasted Nut Mix is perfect for snacking on its own or for adding to your snack mix. Nuts are perfect little packages of fiber, plant protein and healthy fats, and eating them regularly may help lower your risk of heart disease and colon cancer. While these are honey-roasted, they contain just 3 grams of added sugar in a ¼-cup serving, which is only 6% of your daily recommended allotment of added sugar. When stored properly, nuts have a long shelf life, so grab a canister or two. You may even find yourself adding them to a cheeseboard for holiday entertaining.

From November 17 to December 1: $100 off
No question, having the proper kitchen essentials makes cooking and baking more enjoyable. And while a good blender is a must, they can be pretty pricy. Thankfully, Costco has the Vitamix Alta Pro Blender on sale for a couple of weeks. This professional-grade blender usually runs around $400, but you can get it for $300 during this sale. The blender jar holds a generous 64 ounces, and the base has an equally generous three-foot cord—don’t you hate it when the cord doesn’t quite reach? This blender also has two settings, one for soup and another for smoothies, plus 10 speed settings and a pulverizer to help blend up tougher ingredients, like fruits and veggies. This would be a great blender to use with our Carrot Soup or Creamy Cauliflower & Zucchini Soup.

Design elements: Courtesy of Brand. EatingWell design.
From November 28 to December 1: $5 off per package
There are so many things you can do with boneless chicken breasts, which is why these Kirkland Signature Boneless Chicken Breasts had to be among our picks. The sale on these only runs for a few days, so make sure you get there in time. Chicken breast can be used in a Classic Chicken Soup, Chicken Parmesan Casserole, Marry Me Chicken Salad Sandwich and so much more. Chicken breasts even freeze well, so grab a pack and stow the chicken away for winter soups—it’s always nice to have a little cache of protein in the freezer.
