Travis Kelce has etched his name into the Kansas City Chiefs history books once more after becoming the franchise’s new all-time leader in all-purpose yards.
Just minutes into their Monday Night Football clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kelce recorded two catches for 15 yards on the Chiefs’ opening drive – taking him to 12,357 career all-purpose yards (based on rushing, receiving and all forms of returns).
The legendary tight end, who turned 36 on Sunday, surpassed Dante Hall’s previous record of 12,356.
He has set a host of franchise records during his iconic spell in Kansas City, including for receiving touchdowns (77), receiving yards (12,151), playoff receiving touchdowns (20), playoff receptions (178) and playoff receiving yards (2,039).
After creating more history, Kelce went on to register the 79th touchdown of his career in the first half at EverBank Stadium following a two-yard throw from Patrick Mahomes on third-and-goal, despite officials initially throwing a flag for pass interference.
JuJu Smith-Schuster freed him up with a rub that took out cornerback Jourdan Lewis and safety Eric Murray, but Mahomes quickly argued that he was within one yard of the line of scrimmage, which would have made the play legal. After his protests the touchdown was allowed to stand.

Kelce is in action for the Chiefs as his fiancee Taylor Swift makes her latest TV appearance 930 miles away in New York City.
Swift, who got engaged to the NFL star over the summer, is heading on the Jimmy Fallon show on Monday night as part of the intense promotion of her new ‘Life of a Showgirl’ album.
So far this season, the songstress has not been spotted watching Kelce play for the Chiefs, instead making her two trips to Arrowhead Stadium incognito while hidden behind a giant screen.
Her new album includes an overtly sexual song dedicated to the Chiefs icon, which has sparked major controversy.
Strewn throughout the song are lyrics about how Kelce finally broke her unlucky streak in love. And in the track, Swift mentions his ‘magic wand’, ‘Redwood tree’ and detailed how ‘His love was the key / That opened my thighs.’
Travis and Taylor revealed their engagement in the weeks leading up to the start of the NFL season, with the announcement breaking the internet at the time.
The couple are expected to tie the knot in 2026, although a specific date has not yet been made public.
