The Local View Business Expo 2025 held in Peterborough


The Local View Business Expo 2025 was held in Peterborough at Kingsgate on Thursday, October 2, running from 10am to 2pm.

The event included keynote speakers, live interviews, and a showcase of local enterprise.

Sara Hemp, director of The Local View, said: “This event was all about celebrating Peterborough’s vibrant business community while providing practical tools and insights for growth.”

The expo opened with a welcome from Kev Lawrence and featured two keynote sessions.

Mentor and speaker Sukhi Wahiwala led a talk on overcoming procrastination and boosting productivity.

Entrepreneur and author Mike Greene delivered a session titled Business… Adapt or Die, focusing on resilience and adaptability in a changing marketplace.

PCR FM 103.2, in partnership with the event, hosted live interviews with business owners, sharing stories and ideas from across the city and beyond.

Attendees explored exhibitor stands, discovered new services, and developed business connections.

Julie Marsh, co-director of The Local View, said: “We’re thrilled to have worked in partnership with Kev Lawrence and PCR FM to deliver a day that both empowered and inspired local businesses.”

The expo was supported by sponsors including Steven Eagell Toyota, Family Voice Peterborough, CR Smith Virtual PA, Fuzzy Brick, and Currys Business.

Steven Eagell Toyota offers new and used Toyota vehicles and motoring services.

Family Voice Peterborough is a parent-led charity supporting families of children with special educational needs and disabilities.

CR Smith Virtual PA provides business support to neurodiverse individuals and people with disabilities, including coaching and administration services.

Fuzzy Brick specialises in marketing gamification and team building.

Currys Business supplies IT products, technology solutions, and business support services.

Organisers said the support of these sponsors reflects a shared commitment to business growth and community development in Peterborough.

The event was designed to strengthen the local business network and provide practical insights for future growth.
