BAE Systems has announced the creation of a new division to meet growing demand for repair and support services in commercial avionics.
Horizon Solutions Aftermarket Services and Support was unveiled as industry delegates gathered in London for the annual MRO Europe.
Horizon Solutions “reflects BAE Systems’ commitment to innovation and growth to meet the industry’s evolving demands,” the company said.
The division will roll out services to keep fleets running longer and more efficiently. An expanded range of includes:
- Flexible trade-in programs that make updates or replacements easier
- Overhaul offerings that extend equipment life and performance
- Package reliability upgrades to increase fleet uptime
- Fleet harmonization programs to help streamline inventory and reduce costs
