Kylie Kelce gives her verdict on Taylor Swift’s raunchy song about Travis: ‘Do I need that much detail?’

An embarrassed Kylie Kelce admits Taylor Swift‘s raunchy song about Travis Kelce left her slightly uncomfortable, despite congratulating her brother-in-law on the complimentary lyrics.

The controversial track, which is called ‘Wood’, has caused quite a stir after Swift released her new ‘Life of a Showgirl’ album last week – with the singer very clearly referencing her partner’s manhood in it.

During her appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show on Monday night, Taylor confessed that she got a little carried away while writing the song after starting off in a ‘very innocent place’.

Strewn throughout the entire song are lyrics about how Travis finally broke her unlucky streak in love. She also mentions his ‘magic wand’ and detailed how ‘His love was the key / That opened my thighs.’

Kelce also spoke out on ‘Wood’ this week, describing it as ‘great’ while being roasted by older brother Jason about the lyrics.

Now Jason’s wife Kylie has had her say on the song about her brother-in-law’s private parts, saying on her Not Gonna Lie podcast: ‘Here’s the deal… Do I need that much detail? Specifically about my brother-in-law? Probably not.’

‘But also,’ she said before clapping and then shouting, ‘Good job Trav! That’s it! Guys… yes. A thousand percent yes. That’s women supporting women. Proud of ya.’

Travis endured an awkward exchange with brother Jason while discussing the song on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast.

‘Do you feel like, err, do you feel…’ Jason said, spluttering. ‘Not “confident”. I’m trying to think of the word. Do you feel cocky about the song wood?’

Travis laughed as he tried to downplay the subject, saying: ‘No! Any song that she references me, I love that girl, what do you mean? Any song that she would reference me is -‘

Jason interrupted: ‘That’s not just any song! This is a very specific you. It’s an appendage, it’s a very specific thing.’

‘No way. What? I think you’re not understanding the song.’ Travis joked, to which Jason said: ‘Jesus Christ, Trav! Come on!

‘Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see,’ Jason continued, quoting the song. ‘I thought redwood was, that’s a generous word, I think.

‘If someone wrote a song about me it would be “japanese maple, sometimes can see”. That song is great though, the beat to that song is fantastic.’

Swift also explained the story behind ‘Wood’ during her conversation with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week

‘So I brought this into the studio and I was like: I want to do a throwback, timeless-sounding song and I had this idea about “I gotta knock on wood” and it would be all these superstitions,’ she told Fallon.

‘And it really started out in a very innocent place… I don’t know what happened, man.

‘I got in there, we started vibing and I don’t know how we got here. But I love the song so much.’
