Learn how local candidates’ positions align with business priorities in the 2025 Vote for Business Candidate Forums video series.
Launched by the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Apple Valley News Now, the forums feature nine videos of local candidates running for positions in Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, West Richland, Port of Benton and Port of Kennewick.
Candidates are asked a variety of questions including how they will support local businesses to help them expand and remain competitive; what incentives they would support to encourage entrepreneurship and startups; how they would address housing shortages that make it harder to attract and retain workers; and what is your position on in-fill development in the core business areas.
They’re the only region-wide, business-focused candidate conversations in the Tri-Cities and serve as a resource to voters, business leaders and community members preparing for the upcoming elections, according to the chamber.
